Vouching
Skip the whitelist application with a vouch from a trusted member — and how to earn Vouch Authority yourself.
Vouching lets trusted members of VIRIDIA bring someone into the city without them filling out the whitelist application. A vouch is a personal recommendation: the member who vouches is putting their reputation behind you.
Getting vouched in
- A member with Vouch Authority vouches for you in our Discord.
- You'll get a Discord DM from our bot.
- Log into the website with Discord within 24 hours. That completes your vouch.
- You'll receive the Passport and Vouched Member roles straight away and can jump into the city.
If you don't log into the website within 24 hours, the vouch expires. You can still apply for the whitelist normally.
You need to be in our Discord server to be vouched for.
Getting Vouch Authority
Vouch Authority is given automatically once you've earned it:
| How you joined | When you get Vouch Authority |
|---|---|
| Whitelist application | After 7 days with Passport |
| Vouched in | After 14 days as a Vouched Member |
You must stay in good standing. If you lose Passport, you lose Vouch Authority, and the waiting period starts again once it's restored.
Vouching for someone
Use the Vouch panel in our Discord:
- Agreement: read and accept the Vouch Authority Agreement (only needed once).
- Submit a vouch: pick one player, or up to 25 at once for a group or faction. Say how you know them and why you recommend them.
- Check my eligibility: see when you'll get Vouch Authority, or why you can't vouch right now.
- My vouches: see everyone you've vouched for.
The rules
- Only vouch for people you personally know or reasonably trust.
- Never sell, buy or trade vouches, or advertise that you'll vouch for strangers.
- Don't vouch for alt accounts or anyone trying to get around a ban.
- Be honest about how you know someone.
There's no limit on how many people you can vouch for, but every vouch is your responsibility. Breaking these rules can mean losing your Passport and/or Vouch Authority, on top of normal disciplinary action.
