Cash ($) is earned through jobs, businesses and — for some — crime. It's used for everything in the city: vehicles, housing, food and fines.

• Bank — money is safe but traceable.
• Cash — can be lost if you're robbed or downed.
• Dirty money — must be laundered before it can be banked.
